Born out of passion, Ochre Art is a platform for promoting and nurturing emerging artists who have an unconventional and reflective approach, irrespective of age and training. By supporting emerging talent alongside established artists, Ochre Art aims to create a rich dialogue between different artistic voices. This ensures the growth and continuity of the art ecosystem at large.
Our objective is to make the process of understanding and purchasing art more engaging and exploratory for the client. We work alongside prospective buyers to enable them to discover their preferences and interests in the vast and exciting world of visual arts, to help them find art that will fit seamlessly in their spaces, be it residential, commercial, retail or hospitality.
It is not just about owning art, but fostering meaningful connections between creators and collectors which in turn can enrich and transform lives.
Ochre Art was started in 2024 by Vipula Bhrany Monga. Her path into art consultancy began at the intersection of architecture, interior design and a long-standing love for contemporary Indian art. An architect by profession, she decided to launch her own art venture after 25 years of running a successful practice in architecture and design.
Most people do not realise how art can enhance and elevate a home or office. Vipula would advise the clients, curate and customise the art for her projects. Soon enough, it became a passion.
Over the years, friends and colleagues would often ask for advice on art purchases. Vipula also built her private collection over the last 15 years.
Ochre Art came into being when she decided to transform her fascination with the world of art, her keen sense of curation and her understanding of a client’s requirements into a structured art advisory.
Her philosophy is that art should be more than a purchase, it has to speak to the owner. “Art should be timeless, it should be something you love, that heals you”, she says. And it is by helping to make those connections between artist and buyer, creating that spark in any and every space that Vipula Monga finds her joy
